California-based Alliance Board Sports has been pegged to manufacture and sell Erick Kirkland's Long Woody skateboard.Alliance Board Sports plans to sell the longboarders' skateboard at retailers such as Dick's Sporting Goods, Sports Chalet, Hibbets, MC Sports and Scheels. The Long Woody allows tool-free adjustment through a control knob, whereas a traditional longboard needed a separate tool.
Kirkland's Long Woody was originally named the Nuclear Pickle and was patented in 2001. AbsolutelyNew helped broker the deal.
