The Licensing Company and Giochi Preziosi have signed Egmont to produce an extensive range of books based on boys' action property Gormiti.Egmont has been tapped to create coloring and activity books, annuals and story and novelty books. The range will be out this spring.
"Gormiti has that exciting combination of adventure and fantasy, good and evil that has caught the imagination of boys ages 3 to 10 everywhere," says David Riley, director of Egmont Publishing. "We loved the exciting storylines, colorful characters and world of adventure that combine to create so many fantastic publishing opportunities."
"Gormiti: The Lords of Nature Return!" is based on the collectible toy action figures created by Giochi Preziosi. The series, co-produced by Giochi Preziosi and Marathon Media, recently premiered in October on NickToons in the U.K. Upcoming airings are scheduled for Spain, Greece, France, Germany and Turkey.
