Four partnerships have recently been renewed and expanded for Marvel Entertainment's apparel range. The character-based licensing company is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year.The latest deal news includes:
a multi-year extension with Fruit of the Loom for children's underwear lines based on Marvel franchises and its upcoming film slate, such as Iron Man 2, The First Avenger: Captain America, Thor and The Avengers
a license renewal with Mad Engine for T-shirts and hoodies featuring all Marvel Universe character properties, as well as Iron Man 2 and Thor (mass market to mid-tier and high-end stores)

an expanded relationship with Freeze for men's and boys' merchandise, including Marvel Studio's upcoming film roster (all tiers of distribution)
an expanded relationship with Mighty Fine for men's merchandise for adult-driven classic programs (mid-tier, department and specialty stores)
Freeze and Mighty Fine will continue to manufacture Marvel character fashion tops for women inspired by Marvel Comics/Retro and Marvel Extreme across all tiers of distribution.
