In Korea, IMG will seek partners for the Sesame Street brand in apparel, accessories, stationery, home décor, books, video and audio. "It is an exciting time for 'Sesame Street' as we approach our 40th anniversary here in the U.S.," says Maura Regan, Sesame Workshop's vice president and general manager of global licensing. "As the workshop continues to strengthen its presence in the Asian market and in particular Korea, we look forward to working with IMG on developing a full-scale licensing program featuring a wide range of products and retail promotions." The children's series recently teamed up with Qantas Airlines to bring the popular characters to the skies. From Dec. 1 through Nov. 30, 2010, the following "Sesame Street" videos will be shown during flight—"Being Green," "Bedtime with Elmo," "Elmo & Friends: Tale of Adventure," "Abby in Wonderland," "Dinosaurs" and "Elmo and the Bookaneers." |
