PBS Kids series "Super WHY!" plans to debut an apparel line in time for back-to-school 2009. The preschool show has also recently launched a toy destination on TysToyBox.com.Apparel deals include Kids Headquarters for caped sleepwear and graphic T-shirts; Berkshire for hats, scarves, gloves, umbrellas, raincoats and ponchos; Global Design Concepts for backpacks and purses; Handcraft Manufacturing for underwear and socks; H.E.R. Accessories for hair accessories, jewelry and watches; and Pan Oceanic for sunglasses.
Branded toys for the preschool series now have a new home at TysToyBox.com. Items currently available at the Web site include books from Grosset & Dunlap, toys from Learning Curve, DVDs from PBS Home Video and consumer customizable apparel. TysToyBox.com is also the home to other licensed character products such as The Wiggles, The Doodlebops, Curious George, Charlie and Lola and many others.
"Super WHY!" airs daily on PBS Kids in the U.S. and focuses on teaching kids the fundamentals of reading through storybook adventures. The property is produced by Out of the Blue Enterprises with Decode Entertainment and C.O.R.E. Pictures.
