Marathon Media, a division of Zodiak Kids, and France’s Château de Versailles Spectacles have launched the new app, “Totally Spies: Operation Versailles.”
The app is part of a large-scale promotional event taking place at Versailles this summer to promote the upcoming sixth season of the series. Activities at Versailles include competitions, giveaways and Totally Spies!-branded activities such as treasure hunts in the gardens, screenings of a TV special featuring a Spy mission at Versailles and a kids-oriented visitor’s guide with quizzes, fun facts and games.
The new app follows the storyline of a special double-episode from the upcoming season six that takes place at the Château. Fans must search for the evil Mr. Auguste through four missions that include educational quizzes about Versailles.
“Totally Spies: Operation Versailles,” which was developed by ActiPlay, will be available for iOS and Android devices Aug. 15 in English and French.
Worldwide TV and licensing rights for the series are managed by Zodiak Kids.
