WWE has added two new licensees following the success of “WrestleMania 29” April 7, which was the highest grossing event in WWE history.
Wicked Cool Toys has signed on create a range of novelty items for the professional wrestling brand including character banks, key chains, thumpers, arm bands and microphones; and Millennium Products Group is planning a range of value toys and seasonal games.
This years “WrestleMania 29,” an annual pay-per-view live wrestling event was held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The live event grossed $72 million and brought in more than 1 million global pay-per-view watchers. The event was attended by 80,676 fans from all 50 states and 34 countries.
Next year’s WrestleMania will be held at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 6, 2014.
