Wet Seal celebrated the launch of its brand-new Fifth Harmony for Wet Seal apparel collection with an acoustic performance and meet-and-greet in Sherman Oaks, Calif., Monday.
The event at the Westfield Fashion Square drew hundreds of "Harmonizers," eager to meet the band and check out the collection, which was curated by all five band members.
"We could not be more excited about this program and especially the limited edition collection of merchandise. The Fifth Harmony girls have been amazing to work with and truly represent the Wet Seal customer and all of their various styles and backgrounds," says John Goodman, chief executive officer, Wet Seal.
The line, developed in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment and apparel licensee JCorp, consists of three styles based on each girl's personal fashion sense as well as graphic tees, jewelry and accessories. A second collection of denim and wovens is already in the works.
"We are part of the vision of building a global brand with Fifth Harmony. They are the complete package in terms of talent and marketability," say Jonathan and Marvin Gurman, co-chief executive officers, JCorp. "There will be more happening with the group as we move through the fall/holiday season."
