WBCP Unveils Hello Kitty Crossover

Warner Bros. Consumer Products EMEA, in partnership with DC Entertainment revealed the first full-character creative artwork for its recently announced brand collaboration between Sanrio’s Hello Kitty and DC Comics Super Heroes. 

The unveiling took place at Brand Licensing Europe, which is taking Tuesday through Thursday in London.

“This unique partnership joins two powerhouse brands that have a universal popularity across a variety of demographics. We know the collaboration will excite fans of both properties who will be thrilled to see these global icons come together as Hello Kitty dressed up as Wonder Woman, Supergirl and Batgirl, her favorite DC Comics Super Heroes,” says Pilar Zulueta, executive vice president and general manager, WBCP EMEA.

WBCP is now working with licensees and retailers to develop a range of products for the brand collaboration. Products will target girls, women and collectors and will launch in 2014 in categories including apparel, accessories and footwear, stationery, publishing, personal care, promotional products and food products.
