In his new role, Nitz focus on identifying and building new partnerships in the mobile arena. He will also directly lead the local MBL teams in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Switzerland, Romania and Hungary, and will be based in Berlin.
Nitz joins VIMN from Red Bull Media House, where he was responsible for the commercial development of Red Bull Mobile globally. Prior to Red Bull, he held senior positions at the Web Innovation Lab and the A1 Telekom Austria.
"Mobile brand licensing is a growing and important part of VIMN’s multi-platform businesses,” says Bob Bakish, president and chief executive officer, VIMN, and to whom Nitz will report. “Oliver brings to VIMN a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the mobile business internationally, particularly in the youth space, and his strong industry relationships will be a great asset to advancing our MBL business."
