Univision Communications has partnered with AEG Live to take its popular dance competition, “¡Mira Quie´n Baila!” (Look Who’s Dancing), on the road.
“Mira Quie´n Baila: La Gira” (Look Who’s Dancing: The Tour) will debut at major cities across the U.S. this March.
The live show will feature popular Hispanic personalities performing dance routines ranging from classic dance to Latin moves. The tour will be hosted by “¡Mira Quién Baila!” choreographer Javier “Poty” Castillo, and will also feature special guests at each venue.
Additionally, each event will crown a “Mira Quién Baila: La Gira” champion and one fan will be invited onstage to dance with one of the tour’s celebrities in a Poty-choreographed number.
Among the celebrities slated to participate are model and TV personality Maripily, regional Mexican music star Bobby Pulido, and songwriter and founding member of the bachata group Aventura, Henry Santos.
“We are looking forward to bringing this unique tour to audiences across the country for the first time,” says Rick Alessandri, executive vice president of enterprise development, Univision Communications. “The popularity of ‘¡Mira Quién Baila!’ coupled with Univision’s unparalleled connection with Hispanic Americans, will not only prove to be a success, but an entertaining experience for all families.”
