Kids Preferred has been renewed as master toy partner for The World of Eric Carle for another four years. The current toy line for the brand includes plush and plastic and wood developmental toys.
Plans for this year include an Easter bin program set to launch at Target this month that will include a soft book, teether rattle and bath squirties; expansion of the brand’s infant developmental line at Kohl’s; a growing presence at Babies ‘R’ Us; and the addition of 15 new products including wood toys, soft teether books, tummy time play and bath items that feature the Very Hungry Caterpillar for the first time.
University Games has renewed its license for The World of Eric Carle games and puzzles for another three years.
University Games plans to continue to develop new products for the brand such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar Twirl and Toss game and The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Friends I Have card game, both of which will debut this year alongside a variety of new puzzle offerings.
Finally, JLG has added new partner Trends International to The World of Eric Carle roster. Trends is developing a line of sticker formats that will debut this summer featuring popular Eric Carle characters including The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Brown Bear.
