Online kids’ channel Toon Goggles is broadening its accessibility and launching a new app for Barnes & Noble’s Nook HD and HD+.
The free app features over 1,000 hours of safe programming for children, including cartoons, games and features. An upgrade is available for enhanced service, which gives access to thousands of extra cartoon episodes.
“Nook is one of the leading platforms for kids’ apps and content, and we are proud to bring our exclusive ‘Toon Goggles’ app to Nook customers,” says Jordan Warkol, director of marketing, Toon Goggles. “The ‘Toon Goggles’ app is packed full of popular and entertaining animated content for children and it will look spectacular on the high-definition screens on Nook HD and Nook HD+.”
“Nook HD and Nook HD+ are the most family-friendly devices on the market and offer everything that customers want in a tablet, including a constantly expanding selection of apps,” says Claudia Romanini, vice president, Nook apps, Nook Media. “The addition of ‘Toon Goggles’ brings yet another fun, creative and colorful app to Nook and is a further example of our commitment to having the leading catalog of child- and family-friendly apps available.”
The “Toon Goggles” app is available now in the Nook Store.
