'Tickety Toc' Goes Digital

Zodiak Kids has teamed up with Cupcake Digital to bring its preschool show “Tickety Toc” to tablet and smartphone screens beginning this spring. U.S. licensing agent Established Brands and Canadian licensing agent Studio Licensing brokered the deal.

A total of 12 story apps are slated for development for all major platforms featuring a professional narration, learning games and interactive, as well as a Grown-Up's Corner for guided reading conversations.

“‘Tickety Toc’s’ great storytelling is the perfect foundation for creating engaging, educational and high-quality story experiences,” says Susan Miller, president, Cupcake Digital. “As more parents share their smartphones and tablets with their kids, they will now be able to connect with ‘Tickety Toc’ and experience a show they love in a whole new way."

The CGI-animated series follows twins Tommy and Tallulah as they race against time to keep the clock ticking. She show debuted on Nick Jr. in October 2012 and airs in Canada on Disney Junior and Family Channel.

The consumer products program for the series will launch this fall led by master toy partner, Just Play.
