TextPride, which creates branded content for mobile devices, has developed new digital content for SEGA, MGM, Hearst and a host of other entertainment brands.
The brand “packs” of digital stickers, emoticons and themes will be available in the content stores of TextPride’s app partners, which include Viber, Kik, GroupMe and now BBM for iPhone, Android and BlackBerry smartphones.
SEGA, MGM and Hearst join other entertainment and sports brands such as Dumb Ways to Die, 60-plus NCAA schools, Warner Music Group, NBC’s “Psych,” Miramax Films and the Tottenham Hotspurs.
“The explosive growth of mobile messaging apps means every app is trying to stand out,” says Sean O’Brien, co-founder, TextPride. “The recent popularity of Line sticker sales, WeChat games, themes on KakaoTalk, Kik’s in-app HTML5 browser and stickers from Facebook Messenger confirm that users want to express themselves and incorporate their favorite brands while sending messages. We are offering something unique in that we are giving both apps and their users’ access to the largest brands in the world.”
