The Carte Blanche Group has signed a major publishing deal for its Tatty Teddy & My Blue Nose Friends brand with Autumn Group, part of Bonnier Publishing.
Tatty Teddy & My Blue Nose Friends is the new multi-character brand launched in 2012 that combines Carte Blanche’s classic character Tatty Teddy and the cheeky personalities of My Blue Nose Friends.
Autumn Group is now planning a full publishing line for the brand that will include storybooks, board books, learn-to-read books, wall charts and gift sets beginning in fall/winter 2014.
“This fantastic book publishing deal will allow us to bring the characters to life, giving an extra dimension which we’re certain children and parents will love,” says Sam Kelly, head of licensing, Carte Blanche. “The brand has an endearing focus on friendship, sharing and fun, and we look forward to seeing that translated into print.”
