Studio 100 Film Makes U.S. Debut

Studio 100 Film, the recently launched film division of the children’s production and distribution company Studio 100 Media, is making its first-ever appearance at the American Film Market, which began Nov. 6 in Santa Monica, Calif., and continues through Wednesday.

Studio 100 Film is showcasing a slate of family-oriented animated films led by its flagship project Maya The Bee–Movie and also including the feature films Vic The Viking–Movie, Heidi–Movie and Blinky Bill–Movie.

The recent launch of Studio 100 Film, which will handle all worldwide cinematic film sales, formalizes Studio 100’s plans for growth into the movie business.

“Following on from the recent worldwide success of the new animated TV series ‘Maya The Bee,’ we are thrilled to offer the stereoscopic 3D Maya The Bee–Movie for theatrical release,” says Patrick Elmendorff, managing director, Studio 100 Media.

The company has already sold Maya The Bee–Movie to Universum Film for the German-speaking territories.
