Studio 100 International has appointed Sunny Lee as licensing manager in the Asian Pacific region.
Reporting to Marie-Laure Marchand, international licensing director, Lee will handle consumer products as well as coordinate marketing plans for the company’s key local brands in Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia and Korea.
Lee will work on Blinky Bill and Tashi in Australia/New Zealand and will also be in charge of developing the scope of the Maya the Bee, Vic the Viking and Heidi brands in the region.
Lee began working in the licensing industry for Cocaban Company, managing key licenses such as Transformers III, The Simpsons and Disney (Japan) in Korea. She subsequently joined Joon International Entertainment Company, a licensing agent in Korea, where she became familiar with Studio 100’s key brands, notably Maya the Bee.
“Sunny has worked with the licensing team at Studio 100 as an external partner, and we are now delighted that she has joined our team permanently,” says Marchand. “Sunny has a wealth of experience in the Asian licensing industry and her double Korean-Australian culture will certainly be a true asset for our team. We look forward to working together to generate additional awareness of the local brands throughout the Asian Pacific region.”
