New mobile gaming company Seriously has made four new hires to build out its creative team.
Dan Romanelli, formerly founder and president of Warner Bros. Worldwide Consumer Products, joins as an advisor to the company. He brings extensive franchising and retail experience to the company.
Ujjai Kohli, former chief executive officer of Rhythm New Media, joins Seriously as an advisor for mobile, entrepreneurial and venture capitalism.
Philip Hickey joins Seriously as vice president of marketing and communications. Hickey, who led marketing strategy and execution at Rovio, will be working on marketing Seriously’s properties, with its first title set to be announced later this summer.
Finally, Seriously has also appointed Petri Räsänen as a game artist. Before Seriously, Räsänen was a mobile game developer at Rocketpack, now acquired by Walt Disney Company.
