SeaWorld has debuted a sleigh full of holiday gifts ranging from toys and apparel to home goods and a Monopoly game.
The first-of-its-kind Monopoly: SeaWorld Wildlife Conservation Edition from USAopoly (under license from Hasbro) replaces the traditional game's houses and hotels with SeaWorld animal research and rescue facilities.
"Rather than buying real estate, this version encourages players to invest in the welfare and sustainability of animals," says Scott Helmstedter, chief creative officer, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. "We worked closely with our partners at USAopoly to create a conservation-focused game that's both fun and educational."
The Monopoly: SeaWorld Wildlife Conservation Edition is available now at SeaWorld's three marine life parks and its online gift portal ShopShamu.com.
Other holiday items available include slippers inspired by SeaWorld animals such as Shamu; holiday décor that includes blown-glass animal ornaments and winter-themed nutcrackers; a line of products featuring park-exclusive animal patterns on items such as suitcases, umbrellas, coin purses, plush and bathing suits; SeaWorld tech protectors for iPhones, iPads, tablets and computers; kitchen accessories inspired by the SeaWorld Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin exhibit such as black and white penguin napkins, salt and pepper shakers, chef hats and oven mitts; and Jimmy Crystal New York Turtle Bling limited edition in dolphin, turtle, animal print and Shamu styles.
