Scooby-Doo is joining forces with the North Shore Animal League America’s Tour for Life animal adoption tour as it makes its way across the U.S. over the next three months, under license from Warner Bros. Consumer Products.
The mobile tour will make stops and host adoption events at animal shelters in 52 U.S. cities from Wednesday through May 16.
In conjunction with the tour, school and libraries along the route will hold Mutt-i-grees Pack Parties to raise money and awareness of local shelters.
Proceeds raised through the national Mutt-i-gree’s Pack Party website will benefit the North Shore Animal League America and the Cesar Millan Foundation. The school or library that raises the most funds will win $1,000 and a visit from Scooby-Doo.
“Warner Bros. and Scooby-Doo are proud to support the Mutt-i-grees curriculum and partner with North Shore Animal League America’s Tour for Life,” says Karen McTier, executive vice president, domestic licensing and worldwide marketing, Warner Bros. Consumer Products. “With Scooby-Doo at the head of the pack, even more young fans and dog-lovers will be able to participate in community-hosted Pack Parties across the country to advocate for shelter adoption and help animals find the home that they deserve.”
