Rizon Studios has announced plans to partner with Evolution USA to form a global integrated brand licensing and management agency.
The strategic partnership will see Rizon Studios Licensing trade as Evolution Europe; the new group will trade as Evolution International.
Rizon Studios Creative will continue to operate in its own right and will also provide creative services to the group.
“The decision to partner was an easy one. Having worked with Evolution closely over the past year it became apparent that our combined competencies and experience provided the basis for a world-class global brand management agency,” says Dave Collins, chief executive officer, Evolution Europe. “With locations in London and Los Angeles the partnership is perfectly placed to deliver strategic brand management and creative licensing to IP owners on a global basis.”
The new Evolution group of companies will work with brands across multiple territories both directly and through a network of sub-agents. The company already represents clients including the Miramax portfolio, Dumb Ways To Die, Subway Surfers and Henri Le Worm.
“As a combined group, we will be able to offer a truly unique worldwide licensing solution to the industry–a globally thought out and executed solution, with one voice,” says Travis Rutherford, president of licensing, Evolution USA. “We will be able to directly control the entire brand messaging from creative through to retail without going outside the group, realize the full L&M potential of the brand.”
