Registration is now open for Brand Licensing Europe, which will take place Oct. 7-9 at London’s Olympia exhibition hall.
Now in its 16th year, the show promises an action packed three days following last year’s record-breaking event, which hosted more than 7,200 retailers, licensees and sales promotion professionals from 65-plus countries.
Once again, this year’s event will be divided into three distinct areas to help visitors navigate easily: Art, Design and Image; Brands and Lifestyle; and Character and Entertainment.
More than 80 percent of the show’s floor has now been filled. Exhibitors include 20th Century Fox Consumer Products, Chelsea Football Club, Chupa Chups, Discovery Enterprises, Dorna Sports, DreamWorks Animation, Hasbro Brand Licensing & Publishing, ITV Global Entertainment, Major League Baseball, Mind Candy, Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products, Rovio Entertainment, The Royal Ballet, Von Dutch and Warner Bros. Consumer Products, to name a few.
Running alongside the exhibition again is the Licensing Academy, featuring keynote sessions from leading industry experts, which will be announced this summer. Over the past few years the Academy has played host to sessions from the likes of Mind Candy, Rovio, Volkswagen, Lucas Licensing and FIFA.
The finale of the License This! competition for new creative concepts will also take place in front of a live audience and judging panel on the last day of the show.
