Apparel specialist Poetic Gem is planning a range of t-shirts and nightwear for adults based on some of Britain’s most iconic soft drink brands, in a new partnership with U.K. beverage manufacturer Britvic.
The deal was brokered by Britvic’s licensing agency Start Licensing.
Poetic Gem will use classic imagery from soft drink brands like R White’s Lemonade and Tango to create an adult nightwear range that will tap into the retro appeal of the properties.
“This is a fantastic deal, and we are very excited about developing this nightwear line,” says Elliott Matthews, executive director, Poetic Gem. “When the opportunity came to use Britvic brands we jumped at the chance. It offers us something really fun and innovative to work with, especially as there is nothing else quite like this in the nightwear category at present.”
