Pocoyo Promotes Earth Hour

 

The World Wildlife Fund and Earth Hour have named Zinkia Entertainment’s Pocoyo as the global kids’ ambassador for Earth Hour 2013, an initiative that that encourages the global community to turn out their lights for one hour to show their support for environmentally sustainable action. The event will take place Saturday.

As part of the campaign, Zinkia Entertainment has introduced an online game, “Pocoyo’s Ocean Cleanup Game.” If 100,000 children go online and play the new game, Pocoyo and his Friends have pledged to help collect two tons of Ocean debris.

To further promote the initiative, Pocoyo is featured in a new public service announcement as well as activity booklets, screensavers and wallpapers.
