Pink’s Hot Dogs Signs Licensing Agent

Firefly Brand Management is on board to grow the famous Hollywood restaurant’s brand throughout the U.S.

Hollywood-based restaurant Pink’s Hot Dogs has appointed Firefly Brand Management to serve as its U.S. licensing agent.

Firefly will now seek to secure U.S. licensing partnerships that reflect the brand’s Hollywood/celebrity fame in categories including apparel, accessories, condiments, gifts, novelty products and more.

“If there ever was a hot dog that was a Hollywood legend, it is Pink’s Hot Dogs,” says Cynthia Modders, president and chief executive officer, Firefly Brand Management. “Known as a Hollywood Legend since 1939, Pink’s is renowned for its delicious variety of hot dogs and hamburgers, huge portions, affordable prices and its celebrity wall of famous patrons. Its historic and fun atmosphere is considered a quintessential Hollywood experience, which will easily translate into the successful marketing of retail products associated with the Pink’s brand. This brand embodies Los Angeles’ history, Hollywood and all of its ‘Celebrityness.’ Consumers and dedicated fans are going to be so excited to find Pink’s licensed products and will be anxious to show their love of the brand.”

Pink’s Hot Dogs was founded in 1939 as a push cart selling hot dogs. Over the course of seven decades, the restaurant has turned into a Hollywood institution and the Pink family has expanded the restaurant into 15 locations, including Southern California, Las Vegas, New York, Hawaii, Ohio and the Philippines.

“We are so excited to be working with Firefly Brand Management,” says Richard Pink, president, Richard Pink & Associates. “Cynthia and her team have a passion for our brand and a vision for its potential. We look forward to working together on expanding the Pink’s Hot Dog brand throughout North America.”
