NatGeo Helps Consumers Prep for Disaster

National Geographic has partnered with Live Prepared to launch a line of preparedness products for natural disasters and unexpected events.

The National Geographic collection of preparedness products will hit retail this summer and features six categories: water, food, first aid, shelter, energy and tools.

“National Geographic has covered expeditions from the farthest reaches of the planet, following explorers who are faced with extraordinary environmental challenges,” says Krista Newberry, senior vice president of brand licensing, North America, National Geographic. “Those explorers have taught us the importance of being prepared for any circumstance, and we bring this philosophy to our new product line with Live Prepared.”
