Marquee Brands to Discuss Licensing at MAGIC

Marquee Brands will highlight its brand strategy for Ben Sherman, Bruno Magli, Gody Glove and BCBG Max Azria.

NORTH AMERICA–The bi-annual fashion trade show MAGIC will host a seminar of brand management and licensing today at 3 p.m. in the MBCC Buyer’s Suite on The Collective show floor.

The seminar, titled “Brand Management and Licensing,” will provide examples of how to extend fashion and lifestyle brands through licensing. The seminar will also discuss the brand strategy behind Marquee Brands’ Ben Sherman, Bruno Magli, Body Glove and BCBG Max Azria brands.

Panelists for the seminar include Michael DeVirgilio, president, Marquee Brands, and Cory Baker, chief operating officer, Marquee Brands.

Steven Ekstract, group publisher, License Global, will moderate the seminar.

Additionally, the “Lifestyle Licensing” seminar took place yesterday and examined how Tokidoki has built its product assortment through strategic licensing deals. Panelists included: Pooneh Mohajer, co-founder and chief executive officer, Tokidoki; and Simone Legno, co-founder and chief creative officer, Tokidoki. Ekstract also moderated the seminar.
