Maker Studios’ co-founder and former chief executive officer Danny Zappin has asked a California judge for a restraining order to delay a Tuesday vote on the sale of the YouTube network to Disney, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Disney announced its plans to pay $500 million for the company last month. For more details, click here.
Zappin is involved in a power struggle for the company after he was ousted as CEO in June 2013. He has filed a lawsuit that alleges conspiracy and a breach of fiduciary responsibility among the company’s board members.
