Little League Signs New Partners

Fermata Partners, the exclusive licensing agency for Little League Baseball and Softball, has signed three new licensees and renewed another for the kids' brand.

Joining the Little League licensing program are Logo Chair for Little League-branded folding chairs, stadium cushions and similar items; MPI Coin for the brand's official 75th anniversary coin featuring the 75th anniversary logo on one side and Lamade Stadium (home of the Little League Baseball World Series) on the other; and Zumer Sport for an array of items constructed from sport ball materials including baseballs and softballs. Among the products Zumer will create are wallets, iPad covers, bracelets, key chains, portfolios, duffle bags, backpacks and cinch sacks.

“We’re extremely excited to continue the growth of the Little League consumer products program by aligning with four quality companies,” says Scott Bouyack, partner, Fermata. “Each of these companies have made a solid commitment to building the Little League brand, and we look forward to working with all of them to unlock opportunities at retail.”

Additionally, Fermata and Little League have renewed their existing licensing partnership with StyleCraft Home Collection, which will continue its array of branded lamps and expand its product assortment to include wall décor, occasional furniture and decorative accessories.

Many of the new products will be available at LittleLeagueStore.net as well as at the 2014 Little League Baseball World Series in South Williamsport, Penn., Aug. 14-24.

“Our licensing partners are an important element of our continued effort to build the Little League brand," says Liz DiLullo Brown, vice president of marketing and strategic partnerships, Little League Baseball and Softball. "These four companies each play a key role in reinforcing the consumer engagement aspect of our marketing strategy and provide a unique touchpoint with our participants, families and alumni.”
