LIMA U.K. is getting ready for its 11th annual Licensing Essentials Course and Spring Fling networking party, which will take place May 22 at The Kings Fund Building in London.
During the day the Licensing Essentials Course will deliver a program of seminars with speakers for 2014 including executives from Beanstalk, Gfk Research, Fisher Forensics, Rizon Studios, Sheridans Solicitors and Kids Industries.
“The LIMA Licensing Essentials Course has come to be regarded as the single most important licensing training day in the U.K.,” says Kelvyn Gardner, managing director, LIMA U.K. “Delegates routinely arrive with a hazy idea of this industry and end the day with a comprehensive understanding of how it works and how to engage with the licensing community. This is without doubt the best chance in 2014 to learn what you need to know to make licensing work for you and your business.”
The evening networking event will start at 5 p.m. with the Legendary Licensing Debate, a panel-led discussion on licensing chaired by Gardner. This years Spring Fling party will be sponsored by publisher DC Thomson’s The Beano brand.
“DC Thomson is delighted to partner up with LIMA for this year’s Spring Fling,” says Tim Collins, head of brands, DC Thomson. “We will be bringing a bit of fun to the proceedings with our classic brand The Beano and their chief protagonists Dennis the Menace and Gnasher.”
Booking will be available on the LIMA U.K. website soon, but until then interested parties can register for the event by filling out this PDF and sending it to Ryan Beaird at email@example.com.
