License! Global, the world’s leading publication and news source for brand licensing and retail merchandising executives, and Australia’s prominent Bugg Toys & Licensing, have announced a content sharing agreement.
The agreement gives both parties the opportunity to extend their reach and offer their readers breaking news and trend insights about the brand licensing business. The alliance will further extend the international reach of License! Global into Australia and New Zealand and allow Bugg the capacity to deliver its territory news to a global audience.
“License! Global is excited about this content alliance because it extends our reach into Australia and New Zealand, thereby allowing us to provide vital information about the licensing business in these important territories to our current global readers,” says Steven Ekstract, group publisher, License! Global.
The content sharing agreement will allow License! Global and Bugg Toys & Licensing the opportunity to provide greater visibility of the Australian and New Zealand markets to North America and Europe while providing Australia and New Zealand with a better understanding of what is happening in the rest of the world.
“We are really looking forward to working with License! Global,” says Tony Bugg, publisher of Australia’s Bugg Toys & Licensing. “The strength and reach of their publication, combined with their event capability, including Licensing Expo in Las Vegas and BLE in London, will unlock vast opportunity for the licensing community locally.”
The agreement will be effective Feb. 1 and will coincide with the re-launch of the License! Global website at www.licensemag.com and the newly launched Bugg Toys & Licensing website at www.buggtoysandlicensing.com.
A special button will highlight the Bugg Report and news of Australia and New Zealand on the License! Global site. Conversely, Bugg will publish various news articles from License! Global. The agreement includes online, social media and print.
