LazyTown to Promote Pears

LazyTown is heading to grocery stores across the U.S. in a new partnership with Pear Bureau Northwest that was brokered by Cartoon Network Enterprises.

Pear Bureau Northwest was recently awarded a $75,000 grant by the Washington State Department of Agriculture for the LazyTown program, which will work to promote not just pears, but also healthy lifestyle choices.

The project will be tailored to retail partners and schools with live events and co-branded materials including floor signs, channel cards with tear-off recipe pads and life-size standees.

LazyTown’s main character Sportacus will also make appearances at select schools and retailers that excel in promoting pears.
