MGA Entertainment has teamed with Corus Entertainment to bring the new animated series “Lalaloopsy” to Canada.
The series will premiere on Canada’s No. 1 preschool network, Treehouse, Saturday.
Based on MGA’s best-selling doll line, “Lalaloopsy” puts the focus on fun and friendship in an animated series that combines magical tales and child developmental themes.
“We are thrilled to launch this exceptional series on Treehouse, the leading preschool network in Canada,” says Diane Goveia-Gordon, president, MGA Entertainment Canada. “‘Lalaloopsy’ has massive appeal among families and children and is set to resonate with Canadian fans like never before. We look forward to providing exciting and fun Lalaloopsy stories to our little consumers."
Studio Licensing, the Canadian L&M agent for the brand, helped to finalize the deal with Corus. Studio Licensing is now planning a licensing program across multiple categories aimed at supporting MGA’s toy releases and the TV series.
