ITV Signs Matt Hatter Apparel Deal

ITV Studios Global Entertainment has tapped Smith & Brooks to produce a range of Matt Hatter-branded outerwear for boys in the U.K.

The line will be inspired by visuals and characters from Platinum Films’ boys’ series, “Matt Hatter Chronicles,” and is scheduled to arrive at retail in fall/winter 2014.

“This licensed apparel deal with one of the best-known and most respected names in the business is further evidence of the fast-accelerating Matt Hatter Chronicles licensing program,” says Trudi Hayward, senior vice president, head of global merchandising, ITVS GE. “‘Matt Hatter Chronicles’ fans will be thrilled at the opportunity to wear clothing inspired by their hero and his adventures.”

Smith & Brooks joins other licensees including the Simba Dickie Group (master toy licensee), Penguin, Titan, Topps, TDP Aykroyd, Character World, Trade Mark Collections, VMC and Pedigree.
