The Yamaha Motor Corporation has tapped IMG Licensing, a division of IMG Worldwide, to manage and expand its licensing business in North America.
A leader in the motorsports industry, Yamaha has products in all segments including motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-side vehicles, outboard marine engines, scooters, personal watercraft, snowmobiles, boats and golf cars.
“Through its extensive core product line, Yamaha appeals to a broad base of consumers who value quality, innovation and performance,” says John Meis, vice president, IMG Licensing. “IMG sees tremendous potential for Yamaha to deepen that connection and to build even stronger customer loyalty by expanding its licensing program.”
Under the multi-year agreement, IMG Licensing will work with Yamaha to manage the brand’s current licensee base and create new business opportunities that extend the brand into different lifestyle categories.
