Iconix Brand Group has appointed Carolann Dunn to the newly created role of executive director of hard goods for Peanuts Worldwide and Iconix Entertainment.
In her new role, Dunn will work with the company’s director of hard goods Lexi Mitz to drive business in a range of categories including toys and games, health and beauty, gift, home décor, stationery, food and sporting goods. Dunn will also manage and expand the roster of partners lined up for the upcoming Peanuts movie, set to be released by Twentieth Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios in 2015.
“With her strategic knowledge, adding Carolann to the team at this pivotal time will be a huge asset to Peanuts,” says Leigh Anne Brodsky, managing director, Peanuts Worldwide and Iconix Entertainment. “As we continue to grow our business, we are always looking for ways to reach new audiences, particularly younger ones, and the hard goods categories are vital to that success.”
Dunn joins Peanuts Worldwide and Iconix Entertainment from the licensing agency Creative Properties where she served as the principal and worked on properties such as Disney’s Club Penguin. Prior to Creative Properties, Dunn was vice president of consumer products licensing for Major League Baseball Properties.
