The Hub Network has announced plans to host and subsequently broadcast a new live event, "The 1st Annual Hub Halloween Bash."
The live-to-tape special will feature the first-ever nationwide costume competition, with one finalist being chosen from every state in America, as well as musical performances, celebrity presenters and judges and spooky entertainment for the whole family.
Set to be produced by Bob Bain Productions, "The 1st Annual Hub Halloween Bash" will take place in Santa Monica, Calif., and will air on the Hub Network in late October.
"Since its launch in 2010, the Hub Network has staked its claim to Halloween with family friendly, spooky programming that performs extremely well with kids and families," says Margaret Loesch, president and chief executive officer, Hub Network. "Just like the ball drop every year on New Year's Eve, we believe this fun tentpole event will be a new cultural phenomenon around Halloween."
