Aadarsh has been tapped to represent the Swedish TV series “Heroes of the City” in India for merchandising and publishing.
The 3D animated show follows the adventures of a group of rescue vehicles in a small town where everybody gets to be a hero and is targeted to kids ages 3 to 7.
The first season of “Heroes of the City” has already been sold in more than 180 countries and the companion books have sold more than 120,000 copies to date in Scandinavia alone. Season two is now in production and will be screened for the first time at MIPJunior this October.
“We are happy to bring ‘Heroes of the City’ to the children of India. This television series will entertain our children and will also educate them about friendship and importance of being together,” says N. K. Krishnanand, head of licensing and publishing, Aadarsh. “Aadarsh will now be representing Heroes of the City in India and will also provide programs to TV channels and facilitate licensing of merchandising items.”
