Celebrity and entertainment licensing agency RMI has signed on to represent the Irish YouTube-turned-movie comedy brand, The Hardy Bucks.
Sometimes described as the Irish Hangover, the brand has more than 8 million views on YouTube and was turned into a TV series in 2010-2011 by Irish broadcaster RTE. Universal Pictures the commissioned a feature length version, which arrived in Irish theaters in February and arrived in the U.K. in November. Universal Pictures is now planning a follow-up film, The Hardy Bucks 2–Hard Down Under for fall 2014.
RMI is now seeking licensees for the brand in range of categories including accessories, apparel, bath and body, food and drink, gifts, games, publishing and stationery.
