Described as “a modern take on classic British prep,” HAP plans to expand the brand into apparel, personal accessories, back-to-campus and home furnishings.
“We feel that HAP Consulting understands the unique opportunity with the Sloane Ranger brand,” says Jamie Chauss, chief executive officer, Sloane Ranger. “This is a brand that will be able to sit with iconic brands like Ralph Lauren, Lilly Pulitzer and Tommy Hilfiger.”
Sloane Ranger, which launched in 2011, is a division of Florida-based Prime Source Accessories.
The term sloane ranger refers a young, preppy, confident individual from the U.K., and comes from Sloane Square, an iconic locale the Chelsea area of London.
