Hallmark is the latest licensee to jump on the Marvel’s Guardians of The Galaxy bandwagon with plans for stationery and social expressions for the 2014 film.
Under license from Marvel Entertainment, Hallmark will create gift and party accessories in the U.S., including greeting cards, wrapping paper and ornaments featuring the film’s intergalactic characters.
“There is so much excitement and enthusiasm in the marketplace for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy,” says Paul Gitter, senior vice president, licensing, Marvel, Disney Consumer Products. “Hallmark joins an impressive roster of licensees that have formed the cornerstone of a merchandising program that will extend the film to consumers in fresh and interesting ways.”
Other partners already signed on for the newest Marvel film franchise include Hasbro, Disguise, C-Life, Mad Engine and Sideshow Collectibles.
