Brand licensing consultancy Golden Goose signed on to build a licensing program for the French bakery Maison Blanc in the U.K.
The chain, which was the first authentic French pâtisserie and bakery in England, has 14 locations across the country and produces cakes for the supermarket Waitrose.
“Maison Blanc has an established reputation for sourcing and making high-quality products inspired by French bakery,” says Rebecca Rose, head of marketing, KFG Restaurants, owner of the Maison Blanc brand. “With their understanding of brands, strategic approach and experience in food licensing, we are confident that Golden Goose will quickly establish a significant licensing program for the Maison Blanc brand.”
Golden Goose is now planning a range of brand extensions for January 2014 that will include gourmet sandwiches, kitchen gifting items, ceramics and products based around the brand’s expertise in chocolate.
“For consumers, Maison Blanc delivers outstanding taste and authentic French flavors. We’re very excited about developing licensed products that communicate the brand’s ‘joie de vivre,’” says Adam Bass, managing director, Golden Goose.
