Woolly and Tig made its licensing debut just last month at Brand Licensing Europe in London.
The three-year deal with Golden Bear will bring Woolly and Tig plush, plastic toys and electronic toys to retail.
“Woolly and Tig” is a live-action series about the 3-year-old Tig whose anxieties and uncertainties are replaced by fun and laughter when her toy spider Woolly comes to life. The BBC has commissioned a second season of the series for early 2013.
