Gap Sets Its Sights on China

As part of its annual investor meeting, Gap, Inc. (parent company of the Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Piperlime, Athleta and Intermix brands) unveiled plans for major expansion in Asia.

Building on Old Navy’s recent debut in mainland China and Gap’s growing store base in the country, the company is targeting China for its largest growth initiative and expects sales in the region to reach $1 billion in three years.
