Conde Nast’s digital food brand Epicurious has teamed up with Tabletops Unlimited to develop a branded housewares collection, in a deal brokered by FremantleMedia.
The new line will launch with 62 SKUs and is being shown for the first time at the International Home + Housewares Show, which is currently taking place in Chicago, Ill.
“This new line will allow Epicurious to be a part of the cooking process from inspiration to execution,” says Carolyn Kremins, senior vice president and general manager, Epicurious. “We’ve always offered the best recipes, articles and videos about food, and we’re thrilled to provide the actual tools to cook with as part of this exciting brand extension.”
Epicurious, which has more than 22 million monthly cross-platform users, worked closely with TTU on the line that includes cookware, bakeware, prepware, measuring cups, cooking tools and gadgets.
“FremantleMedia is very excited to be the catalyst for bringing the finest partners from the culinary world together to create a top-notch collection of new Epicurious-branded products,” says Andrea Brent, vice president, licensing, FremantleMedia. “Epicurious will soon be in kitchens across America, delighting self-proclaimed foodies in a whole new way.”
