NFL Players Inc., the licensing and marketing arm of the NFL Players Association, will host a Mobile Madness challenge to find an innovative mobile gaming concept.
The contest will be formerly launched later this afternoon at the Game Developers Conference. Through April 20, everyone from independent developers to established gaming studios can submit their concepts for a mobile game featuring active NFL players.
Three finalists will be chosen to pitch their concept to NFLPI’s executive team, and the winner will be granted a license for the trademarks used in the game for the 2014-15 NFL season as well as a $10,000 credit for social media marketing.
Entries will be judged on entertainment value, visual design, technology, controls, originality and ability to effectively market the game, among other factors. Participants can download the submission form at NFLPlayers.com/TheChallenge.
