Gaumont International Television and NBCUniversal have appointed Evolution USA as the global licensing agency for the TV series “Hannibal.”
Produced by Gaumont International Television in association with Sony Pictures Television Networks, “Hannibal” is based on the novels by Thomas Harris and serves as a prequel to the feature films Silence of the Lambs and Red Dragon and novels. Season two of the series will debut Feb. 28.

Rutherford, president, licensing and retail development, Evolution. “It’s not surprising that the series has quickly established a large fan base, and we are confident that we can deliver to them compelling and unique product in a multitude of categories in support of the upcoming new season."
Evolution is now seeking manufacturing and retail partners to launch the brand in North America and Europe in key product categories including apparel, accessories, fragrance, home furnishings, home décor, games and collectibles.
