V&S Entertainment has appointed two new licensees in South Africa for Everything’s Rosie apparel, accessories and footwear.
Jacques Hau has signed on to produce apparel for the preschool series that will include pajama sets, tops and leggings, and Universal (Zoom) is planning a range of footwear and accessories including backpacks, tote bags and umbrellas.
Woolworths has already signed on to retail both lines.
“We are thrilled to have Jacques Hau and Universal on board with Rosie. Both companies are big supporters of character licensing in South Africa, and we are certain that the product they have developed will do this beautiful property justice,” says Graham Stephen, director, CLM, V&S
Entertainment licensing agent in South Africa. “The first range will be delivered to Woolworths stores this month, and we look forward to great sell-thrus and a Rosie future.”
The series, which is co-produced by V&S and JCC, airs on both ETV and CBeebies in the region.
“‘Everything’s Rosie’ has long since enjoyed enthusiastic commitment from South African broadcasters, and we are delighted to now extend our relationships in the region with these highly regarded licensees. Jacques Hau and Universal are two licensees who we know will deliver strong product offerings at retail,” says Vickie Corner, managing director, V&S Entertainment.
