Dora Extends Russian Stay

Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products has secured five new consumer product deals in Russia and the CIS for its preschool series “Dora the Explorer,” known locally as “Dasha the Traveller.”

New products set to launch in the summer include a range of interactive books, bicycles, toys and accessories, apparel, board games and housewares.

These items join the existing range of Dora merchandise that has already launched in the region including gifts and novelty products (Centrum Land), publishing (Rosmen and Aruna Publishing), accessories (Misteriya Plus), clothing (EcoLife) and stationery (Trading House Gulliver).“Dora Live!” also recently launched in the region and the series airs every week day on Karusel.
